UK-based roof-integrated solar module manufacturer Viridian Solar has added two new half-cut PERC monocrystalline modules rated at 335 and 340W Clearline Fusion range of rooftop solar panels.
The company claims the two products can be integrated with a clean, unobtrusive aesthetic through a quick installation that is said to take less than 45 minutes per installed kilowatt. “The two modules are designed and engineered in our Cambridge, UK headquarters and are subcontracted in Asia,” said a company spokesman pv magazinewithout giving details of the current production capacity.
The smallest device with the designation PV16-335 has a power conversion efficiency of 20.7%, an open circuit voltage of 42 V and a short-circuit current of 10.3 A. The largest panel with the designation PV16-340 has an efficiency of PV16-340 to 21%, no-load voltage of 42.4 V and short-circuit current of 10.4 A. The maximum system voltage is 1,000 V.
