Villagers in Vanua Levu urged to dismount photo voltaic panels – FBC Information

Vanua Levu villagers are being asked today to remove their solar panels as part of preparation for TC Yasa.

The concern was raised this morning at a special meeting of ministries and departments of heads of government in the Northern Division.

Division engineer North Tevita Halofaki told a meeting of heads of government departments and ministries in Labasa this morning that this was only for safety reasons, as strong winds are expected from tomorrow evening.
