Sunrise Labs adds solar panels
Medical device development company Sunrise Labs announced that a 118 kW solar array was recently installed in its Bedford, NH office.
The system comprises 267 photovoltaic modules, which are expected to produce over 100 megawatt hours of electricity annually.
“We believe climate change is deeply affecting the lives of all people and we hope that we will set an example of what can be done to prevent an environmental crisis,” said Eric Soederberg, president of Sunrise Labs, in a press release.
The new solar array will offset more than 114,000 pounds of carbon pollution annually – the equivalent of planting 1,300 tree saplings, according to ReVision Energy, which installed the solar panels.
Sunrise Labs has also committed to installing electric vehicle charging stations and a bonus for employees who bought an electric vehicle in the last year.
