PoPville » “Suggestions for clothes restore?, Electricians? and Linen donation?”

I was wondering if readers could have places they would recommend for clothes repairing. In particular, I’m looking for a place where I can have fucking socks. I’m trying to waste less and I think this is a way to do it while hopefully supporting a local business as well. “
“I bought a house for the first time in November.
The inspection revealed some very small things that needed to be fixed. There were two major issues my homeowner insurance company had to fix in order to sell me the policy. I could do the first one on my own. The second has to do with the fuse box, and while it’s also very simple, which I could do on my own, the insurance company requires that a certified electrician do the job.
So, are there any recommendations for an electrician who does the job correctly and charges a price that is appropriate to both his education and the simplicity of the job? “
“I’m a manager in a hotel and we have a lot of perfectly usable laundry that we can’t use for minor stains. But it’s high quality linen and I hate to just throw it in the trash. I have contacted a number of shelters or organizations and have had no luck. Does anyone know where I can donate about 500 queen and 500 king beds? “
