Havells launches Carnesia-I ceiling fan with good mode at Rs 4,500
The FMEG and consumer goods company Havells has launched the Carnesia-I ceiling fan in India. The company describes the product as the country’s first intelligent ceiling fan. It is priced at Rs 4,500.
It is considered “one of the most technologically advanced – IoT fans” and is equipped with an intelligent mode that automatically adjusts the fan speed by sensing the temperature and humidity in the room. Other available modes are the five-stage speed control, the timer setting and automatic switching on and off.
The device is compatible with voice-enabled devices such as Alexa and Google Home and can be operated with mobile applications. The Carnesia-I ceiling fan has a multi-user mode that allows multiple users to access and operate a single fan.
In a statement, the company said that “machine learning will provide insight into usage patterns and help new product development.”
