Floating photo voltaic panels on reservoirs entice investments | Enterprise

Terna Energy is expanding into the new floating solar module market with three investment plans with a total budget of 170 million euros.

The total installed capacity should be 265 megawatts.

The Athens-listed company announced on Tuesday that it had applied to the energy regulator to develop floating solar systems on three reservoirs in central Greece.

PPC Renewables has also filed a similar application for a 50 MW project at the Polyfito Reservoir in Kozani, where InterPhoton Investments has applied for a license for a 500 MW floating solar power plant.
