Attic full of priceless photos found by lawyer who purchased Upstate New York building

NEW YORK (WABC) – A lawyer was surprised to learn that a building he bought for his offices had an attic full of priceless photos.

David Whitcomb says he doesn’t even know the building has an attic.

But right there he discovered a treasure trove of framed pictures and photographic equipment.

When Brian Myers suffered a stroke and collapsed on the floor in January, his rescue dog Sadie was right there to save his life.

One photograph was a 1905 portrait of Susan B. Anthony.

Whitcomb says he is developing more negatives to see what other story he might uncover.
