Army Demolishes Tent, Two Barns, And Confiscates Solar Panels Near Hebron – – IMEMC News
Israeli soldiers entered the town of As-Sammou ‘south of Hebron town in the southern West Bank on Tuesday before demolishing a living tent and two barns and confiscating solar panels.
Rateb Jabour, the coordinator of the National and People’s Committee against the Annexation Wall and Colonies, said the tent, barns and solar panels were owned by Ismael Mousa Abu Awwad.
Jabour added that the land is on private Palestinian land, in Zone C of the Occupied West Bank, under full Israeli control in the Occupied West Bank, where the Palestinians are largely denied building permits, while Israel directs its illegal construction and expansion of its colonies Violation of international law.
The occupied West Bank was divided into three areas – A, B and C – under the Oslo Accords, signed in 1993 and 1995 by the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and Israel.
The agreements led to the establishment of the Palestinian Authority (PA), which was granted limited government powers in Areas A and B.
However, the results of the Oslo Accords have instead left Israel in complete control of the Palestinian economy, as well as its civil and security affairs, in more than 60 percent of the West Bank, designated as Zone C.
