CEIP Incentives Available In Calgary, Alberta
Making Energy Efficient Upgrades Easier and More Affordable For Calgary Homeowners.
See how a home energy evaluation can benefit you on your home renovation journey.
If you're a homeowner living in Calgary and or the surrounding area, you can now apply for the Clean Energy Improvement Program (CEIP) to finance energy efficient and renewable energy projects for their home. We understand how energy is used in Calgary homes and can help homeowners find the best improvements for their home that will cut their expenses. CEIP provides financing to homeowners early in their upgrade process.
Below are Calgary's CEIP programs offered by each municipality:
Rocky Mountain House CEIP EnerGuide Home Evaluation Incentive - An EnerGuide Home Evaluation Incentive of $700 is available for the completion of a pre-and post-project EnerGuide Version 15 Home Evaluation. Incentive availability is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to participants who complete a CEIP project. The incentive will be applied directly to the Clean Energy Improvement Tax to reduce the total project financing amount.
Rocky Mountain House CEIP House Upgrade Incentive - An Upgrade Incentive of $500 is available for completed CEIP projects. Incentive availability is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to participants who complete a CEIP project. The incentive will be applied directly to the Clean Energy Improvement Tax to reduce the total project financing amount. Only one CEIP Upgrade Incentive of $500 is available per project.
Canmore CEIP Upgrade Incentive - An incentive of $500 is available for completed CEIP projects. Incentive availability is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to participants who complete a CEIP project. The incentive will be applied directly to the Clean Energy Improvement Tax to reduce the total project financing amount. Only one CEIP Upgrade Incentive is available per project.
The Town of Canmore offers an annual solar incentive rebate program for residents and businesses to help offset the cost of purchasing and installing a rooftop solar photovoltaic system in Canmore.
Red Deer Toilet Rebate Program - Red Deer residents that switch to a low-flow toilet may qualify for a $25 rebate.
Red Deer Energy Efficiency Rebate Pilot Program - The program offers a $50 rebate to those who replace their home thermostat with a smart thermostat and a $100 rebate to those who replace low efficiency dishwashers with a high efficiency model. Program closed October 28, 2022 (perhaps this is a good sign they may do an expanded program in the future?!).
